It All Started With George Floyd
THE COURAGEOUS CREATIVES LEADERSHIP COLLECTIVE was an initiative created in response to the growing global unrest that came to a head, following the murder of George Floyd. His death was preceded by the murders of Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor. These names have been added to a growing list of fallen individuals, whose lives have been taken at the detriment of being Black in America.

The foundation of the project’s design was to listen, learn, unlearn and devise a creative strategy to engage the facility of creative skill and talent. Empowering these voices served multiple purposes and in turn had a major reciprocal effect.
